The hull is of all steel, welded construction and the wheelhouse is mahogany and has the ability to be folded down to pass under overhead obstructions such as low bridges and tunnels. The wheelhouse, as well as all the interior mahogany woodwork, is from one individual mahogany tree from Africa and American white oak.
The SHENANDOAH has three staterooms, en-suite, a spacious main saloon and galley as well as a large wheelhouse used as an additional living space.
Main cabin floors are Brazilian cherry with holly inlay to give a yacht appearance. All other floor surfaces are carpeted.
The galley has granite countertops and Bosch appliances ie: oven, quad-heat, dishwasher, cooktop as well as a Fisher Paykel "American style" refrigerator and freezer. There is also a Bosch washer and dryer with cabinet doors that match the rest of the cabinetry. The main saloon seating is the only "moveable" furniture in the vessel, made in Italy of Italian leather.
Each of the three staterooms can accommodate two guests and each stateroom has its own bathroom and toilet facility. All beds and storage areas are built in cabinet type.
She is powered by a Vetus Deutz diesel engine (170 hp) and a Beta Marine Genset (23.5 KVA), hydraulic chain winches and bow thruster.
The SHENANDOAH is maintained to the highest standards and her systems: power plant, electrical, hydraulics and water are of yacht quality. Her superstructure was repainted and the wheelhouse re-vanished last season.
She is capable of carrying 6000 liters of potable water, 3000 liters of fuel and has holding tanks for black water of 1500 liter capacity.
So that there is no confusion, this vessel is owned by the American David Webb, not to be confused with the British David Webb (a fine gentleman in his own right).
