This is an outstanding hotel barge recently converted from a Belgian "Spitz". With just three ensuite cabins measuring in excess of 125 sq feet each, this really is a home from home. The saloon and dining rooms are equally spacious and very comfortably furnished. Take time to relax as you cruise along the oldest canal in France, the Briare, opened in 1642: admire the passing scenery from the deck, glass of chilled wine in hand, or from the heated spa pool.
Each day our excellent crew will introduce you to the finest of foods, wines and the history of the region through a variety of guided visits.
The delights of this cruise include: Chateau Vaux le Vicompte with it's spectacular gardens, Fontainebleau Palace: a fine example of renaissance architecture, and home to 30 kings of France; Chateau of St Fargeau with it's 16th century working farm; the hunting museum at Gien on the banks of the river Loire;Sancerre vineyard tour and wine tasting; crossing of the Loire River via Eiffel's famous Aqueduct.
This hotel barge is available on charter and cabin basis. Prices range from $3,625 per person to $3,975 per person based on double occupancy, depending upon the season selected, for seven days/6 nights. Charter prices range from $17,500 ( 4 guests, value season) to $21,950 ( 6 guests, regular season)
